Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell dies aged 64 after 'courageous battle'

Phil Campbell, former Motörhead guitarist, has died at the age of 64 after a "long and courageous battle in intensive care", according to his family. Born in Pontypridd, Campbell was instrumental in the heavy metal group's early success and went on to tour with his own band. He was also a proud and loving grandfather, known as "Bampi".
