The Los Angeles City Council has voted to designate the "The Brady Bunch" house in Studio City as a historic-culture monument. The house, which was built in 1959, was largely unremarkable but helped shape America’s vision of family life in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The home was sold in 2018 for $3.5 million, twice the original asking price.
