Daredevil: Born Again season 2 showrunner Dario Scardapane and executive producer Sana Amanat have shared their experiences as both fans and creators of the Disney Plus show. They used "what worked and didn't work" from season 1 to "build a story that satisfies" for season 2. Despite the season's success, critics and fans were critical of the show's wonky CGI, the pacing of certain fight choreography, and the killing of a beloved character from the Netflix series. The revival series initially had a different set of showrunners and directors and was initially planned to be more of a legal procedural. However, Kevin Feige was brought in and brought in to direct the show. The season 2 premiere on Disney Plus on March 24.
