Suspect arrested in fatal shooting at Boardwalk Drive hotel

The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested Daniel Atkins, a suspect in a fatal shooting at a hotel on Boardwalk Drive. Atkins was apprehended on Feb. 25 in Concordia Parish on outstanding warrants and is being held in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. The victim was identified as Kevin White Jr.
