A recent UMBC poll has found that trust in local government in Baltimore City and Baltimore County is low, with only 62% of respondents saying they trust their local government. The poll also found that only 41% of Baltimore City residents believe their jurisdiction is heading in the right direction. Most were optimistic about the future of their city, while only 48% were satisfied with the outcome of the poll. The survey also revealed that over 80% of the residents surveyed said higher energy costs were their biggest issue.
