The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles is introducing a new license plate design, featuring a unique representation of the sport of golf. The plate will cost an additional $40 to buy and renew or replace, and about $35 will be used to support junior golf. This is not the first time the state has included an official sport. The design is sponsored by the Oregon Junior Golf Fund.
