Matthew Faafani, a Long Beach resident, was killed in a collision on the eastbound I-10 near Sunset Avenue, California, according to the California Highway Patrol. The victim was driving a 2008 Nissan Versa that went out of control, veering off the road and down an embankment. No other vehicles were involved in the incident. It is unclear whether alcohol or drugs may have been factors in the crash.
