Man arrested for animal cruelty after dog bites mother in Hialeah, police say

Police have removed 10 dogs from a home in Hialeah after a woman was airlifted to the hospital after suffering multiple dog bites. The dogs' owner, Jairon Alvarez, 23, is facing charges of animal neglect and has been arrested for animal cruelty. The animals were removed from the home and placed under the care of Miami-Dade County Animal Services.
