Pedestrian critically ill after being struck by car

A man, 49, is critically ill after being hit by a car in Edinburgh, Scotland, causing serious injuries. The collision occurred on Chesser Avenue and was caused by a woman driving a blue MG HS. The woman was uninjured. Police are asking for any information regarding the incident.
