Austin Mobility Department Celebrates Burnet Road Corridor Mobility Project Groundbreaking

The City of Austin has initiated the Burnet Road Corridor Mobility Project, a project funded by the 2016 Austin Mobility Bond. The project will include installation of two crosswalk signals to support safer crossings and realignment of Burnet Lane to improve safety and traffic operations. The next phase of construction will include approximately 2.7 linear miles of rescoped corridor mobility improvements, including new sidewalks, shared-use paths, curb and gutter installation, and upgraded traffic signal infrastructure.
