The Grateful Dead has launched a new online platform, Play Dead, with a new app offering high-resolution recordings from the band's vault. The app was developed in partnership with Rhino Entertainment and was authorized by Grateful Dead Productions. It includes newly transferred, mastered and enhanced recordings from The Vault, new weekly vault releases curated by David Lemieux and mastered by David Glasser, CD-only releases for the first time, and more. The Play Dead app is available on both the App Store and Google Play.
