Florida has fired women's basketball coach Kelly Rae Finley after her tenure ended with four consecutive 5-11 finishes in the SEC. The decision was made following the team's 82-64 loss to Oklahoma during the SEC Tournament. Finley was in the fourth year of a five-year, $3.7 million deal she signed after serving as an interim coach after Cam Newbauer was fired amid allegations of verbally abusing players and staff members. The school will begin a national search to replace Finley. The Gators are currently the only one on campus without a conference crown and will miss the NCAA Tournament for the ninth time in 10 years.
