Manzardo enjoying noticeable defensive turnaround at 1B

Cleveland's first-base player, Manzardo, has seen a significant improvement in his defensive performance since his debut in 2025. Despite ranking second on the Guardians behind Carlos Santana, he has been performing well in various metrics including Outs Above Average, Runs Prevented, and Fielding Run Value. Manzardo has also improved his fielding and is moving more athletically at first base. He worked extensively on his fielding during the offseason to prepare his body for the position, which he believes will allow for more flexibility in the team's DH spot.
