Hockey world mourns death of reporter Jessi Pierce and her three kids in house fire

NHL reporter Jessi Pierce and her three children were killed in a house fire in White Bear Lake, Minn., on Saturday. Pierce was a respected member of the hockey community in Minnesota, serving as the Minnesota Wild correspondent for NHL.com for 10 years and creating a deep connection across the community. The Athletic's Michael Russo described Pierce as the "most vibrant person" and "the most upbeat, bubbly personality". The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire.
