The New York Knicks defeated the Washington Wizards 145-113, marking their sixth consecutive win at Madison Square Garden. Despite a poor first quarter, the Knicks managed to score 113-86 and move up to the third-hottest team in basketball behind only the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers. The team has struggled in first quarters this season, particularly against teams with little to play for, like the Wizards. Despite this, head coach Mike Brown stated that he is not against trying to change the team's strategy. The Knicks’ next game will be against the New Orleans Pelicans. They face a six-game stretch of teams in the NBA Draft Lottery-bound games.
