Musician Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, joined Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on an Apache helicopter with him on Monday, just weeks after he caused controversy by posting a video of an Army aircraft hovering over his backyard pool. The ride was part of a Freedom 250th community relations event, where Rock participated in troop touches with service members and filmed videos for Memorial Day, America's 250th birthday, and for his Freedom 250 tour. Following backlash, the U.S. Army temporarily suspended the piloting the chopper following the incident, but this has now been lifted and no further investigation will take place.
