The weather is expected to remain mostly dry with an isolated shower or thunderstorm chance west of I-75/US-23 expected for the afternoon and evening. However, widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to occur, with large hail and damaging wind gusts expected to be the main threats. The potential for these storms could lead to ponding on the roads and minor flooding of low-lying areas. Additionally, there are concerns about high levels of maple, ash and poplar and potential for mosquito interference.
