Alfred Centofanti, a former Las Vegas lawyer who murdered his ex-wife, Gina Eisenman, in 2000, was denied a pardon by the Nevada Board of Pardons. The son of the victim and killer, Nicholas, argued for mercy, but his sister, Lisa Lattarulo, did not believe him. The board unanimously denied any further steps to grant Centofant a pardon or commutation. Despite initially claiming self-defence, Centoffanti was sentenced to life without parole in 2005 after being convicted of first-degree murder. He is now 57 and an inmate at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center.
