New signs have been installed on three Northern Kentucky bridges to remind people of the availability of mental health resources. The idea came from Brandon Saho, founder of The Mental Game and former sports reporter, who said his struggles with mental health were not visible to others. The signs were installed on bridges in Covington and Newport, which are often places where some people choose to die. Saho believes the signs will save lives but also save so many lives that are not reported. The Transportation Cabinet may install suicide prevention signage on state-owned bridges.
