Juan Carlos Thola-Duran, a Santa Clarita man, has pleaded guilty to federal charges related to his role in a "crime tourism" ring that allegedly dispatched criminals from overseas to the U.S. to steal credit cards and steal millions of dollars in proceeds. The ringleader and his girlfriend, Ana Maria Arriagada, operated a car rental business called Driver Power Rentals and directed crime groups from Central America and South America to commit crimes using cars provided by his rental company.
