President Donald Trump has commented on the ongoing drama surrounding LIV Golf, following the Saudi Public Investment Fund's withdrawal of funding for the rebel golf league. He believes that all major-name golfers should be playing against each other in a unified league and that playing together would be beneficial for the sport. The president also suggested that LIV players would be welcomed back to the PGA Tour, stating that they would be accepted by the tour as they are the best players they are currently boycotting. LIV announced on Thursday that it would be seeking long-term financial partners to keep the sport alive beyond 2026.
