Adult Swim's Rick and Morty is returning for its ninth season, with the release date set at May 24. The show's synopsis states that it is focusing on "Grade A organic slop, made by real humans" rather than AI. This marks the third consecutive season for voice actors Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden as Rick and Mortar. Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen praised the show's overall production and contributions to the overall creative process. A spin-off, starring Keith David's President Curtis, is also on the way.
