California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell has been accused of sexual misconduct by a group of women, who are reportedly planning to come forward with allegations of such misconduct. The allegations were made by liberal activist Cheyenne Hunt, who accused Swalw of manipulating and abusing his power. Despite these denials, some fellow Democrats believe the allegations are true. The campaign of the California Democratic candidate, however, suggested that these allegations were the work of pro-Donald Trump conservatives. This comes as California's primary system allows only the top two finishers to advance to the general election regardless of party affiliation.
