A woman was killed in a hit-and-run in the South Chicago neighborhood, according to Chicago police. The incident occurred at around 10:01 p.m. and occurred in the 2100-block of East 83rd Street. The woman was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center and later pronounced dead. The police are investigating the incident.
