Water shortages lifted for Upcountry, West Maui after days of rainfall

The Maui Department of Water Supply has lifted the Stage 1 water shortage for the Upcountry Maui service area and the Stage 2 water shortage in West Maui. The heavy rainfall from the Kona Low significantly improved surface water conditions across Maui County. Despite this, crews are still assessing and repairing storm-related damage and preparing for more rainfall.
