Purdue commit Jaelynn Anthony is taking over the pitching circle for Oswego, the defending Class 4A state champions. She has been sharing time with sophomore Adalynn Fugitt this spring, and is confident in her ability to lead the team back to Peoria. In a recent game, Anthony pitched a three-hit shutout and scored both runs, leading Osweg to beat Plainfield East 2-0. This marks the third consecutive sectional title for Oswichgo, who advanced to play in the NIU Supersectional in DeKalb against Huntley or Barrington.
