Duncan Powell, a Providence College basketball player, was arrested at gunpoint on charges of domestic violence and disorderly conduct after allegedly threatening his ex-girlfriend and her friends. The fifth-year senior, who had just completed his college career at Providence, was identified as Powell. His ex-wife claimed that he had hit her earlier in the day and that there was a tracking device at the bottom of her car, which she claimed was placed there by Powell. A witness at the house alleged that Powell had threatened to kill everyone in the house and had been trying to stalk her and find her location multiple times.
