NYPD officers have shared their experiences of false sexual misconduct allegations, which they claim were false and damaging their reputations and personal lives. This comes as the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) is suing the Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) for publishing unsubstantiated allegations to third-party websites such as 50-a.org. The officers shared their stories under the promise of anonymity, stating their lives were negatively impacted by a false allegation made by a person they arrested.
