Dutch quantum chip testing startup, OrangeQS, has raised €3M from the European Innovation Council Fund (EIC), extending its total funding to €15 million. The MAX Partnership Programme allows quantum chip makers to influence the next generation of OrangeQ's high-throughput test equipment. The company also launched the largest seed round to date in the Dutch quantum sector. The first tranche was led by Icecat Capital with participation from Cottonwood Technology Fund, QBeat Ventures, QDNL Participations, and InnovationQuarter Capital. OrangeQs' flagship product, the MAX, is designed to evaluate quantum chips in days rather than weeks. The firm plans to expand production capacity, grow the team, and advance the MAX to handle increasingly complex multi-qubit chips.
