A hacking group linked to Iran has claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on U.S. medical technology company, Stryker, which was widely disrupted and destroyed its networks, laptops and cellphones. The group, named 'Handala', claims responsibility for the attack, claiming over 200,000 systems, servers, and mobile devices were wiped clean and 50 terabytes of critical data extracted. However, the attack did not demand a ransom. The cyberattack has not been disclosed, but Strykers has stated that its critical medical products, like its surgical robots and LIFEPAK defibrillators, are safe to use and have not been compromised.
