NBC Renews Three ‘Chicago’ Shows for 2026-27

NBC has announced that it will renew seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire, or Dick Wolf's OneChicago dramas, for the 2026-27 season. The renewals will see Chicago Fire return in fall 2026 for a 15th season, while Chicago P., meanwhile, for a 14th season and Chicago Med for a 12th. The shows, which all take place in the same universe, dominate NBC's Wednesday night lineup. The latest renewal follows a three-show crossover on March 4 that saw each series reach season highs for total viewers.
