A report by travel company Tourlane has named Mexico City as the world's best cultural capital city, ahead of other major cities such as Paris and London. The study compared the reputation of these capitals based on factors such as the popularity of their museums and galleries, the artistic and historical artifacts housed within them, and the affordability of admission prices. The report highlighted Mexico City's 44 art museums, 110 galleries, 19 history museums, and 14 science museums. It also highlighted the Palacio de Bellas Artes, home to murals by Diego Rivera, and Casa Azul. The National Museum of Anthropology is considered the city's most popular museum, receiving around 1.5 million visitors annually.
