FDA Issues ‘Serious Violations’ Warning to Ozempic Maker Over Unreported Deaths

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning to Danish drug manufacturer, Novo Nordisk, for failing to properly report serious side effects related to its products. The warning came in response to "serious violations" found during a 2025 inspection. Among the cases cited were three deaths from patients taking GLP-1, including one suicide. The company is accused of lacking adequate procedures to monitor these incidents.
