Dry skies and warmer temperatures move into the region

High pressure is building over the Pacific Northwest, bringing an end to the recent wet and chilly weather. While there are still potential light showers in the mountains, temperatures are expected to rise by around 5 degrees per day. By the end of the week, temperatures will reach the upper 70s to near 80, which is expected to be around 15 degrees warmer than usual.
