The police have seized 75 pounds of illegal marijuana from a passenger at Dallas Love Field. The incident occurred after an airline partner alerted them about a broken suitcase on a flight from Las Vegas to the airport. The suspect, 25-year-old Jennifer Manzanares-Herrera, was taken into custody and charged with second-degree felony for possession of marijuana between 50 and 2,000 pounds. The police also announced Operation Redirection, a DOJ initiative aimed at reducing violent crime before and after the FIFA World Cup 2026.
