Far-right YouTuber Nick Shirley has been invited by the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to speak at its 2026 event in Grapevine, Texas. The video, which shows Shirley attempting to visit largely empty daycare facilities in the greater Minneapolis area, allegedly exposed $110 million in fraud. Following Shirley's investigation, the Trump administration froze federal funding for child care in Minnesota and sent 2,000 federal troops to the state as part of its immigration crackdown. However, many of the facilities featured in Shirley's video had been audited and no findings of fraud were found.
