KFD responds to medical emergency on Kalalau Trail

The Kaua'i Fire Department responded to an apparent medical emergency on the Kalalau Trail on Saturday, February 28. The 19-year-old hiker experienced dizziness and fatigue after an apparent seizure and was reported to be struggling to continue hiking. First responders provided hydration and guided the group back to the trailhead. The incident was cleared shortly after 1.
