Michelle Pfeiffer, star of The Madison, has claimed that Taylor Sheridan, creator of the series, refused to allow her to read the script before agreeing to cast. The series creator, who also stars Kurt Russell and Patrick J. Adams, explained that he likes to cast the show first and then write. Pfeiffson stated that she felt she was given a lot of responsibility as a lead on The Madison and had read some of Sheridan's past work. The show premieres on Paramount+ on March 14 and will be released on March 21.
