The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are expected to be deployed to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport from Monday morning, although there are still questions about their role in assisting in the operation. The agents will be assigned to support operational needs by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), including line management and crowd control within the domestic terminals. The move comes after President Donald Trump threatened to send ICE to airports if Congressional Democrats didn't fund the Department of Homeland Security (ISP), and Border Czar Tom Homan said he is working on a plan for the officers' roles.
