The voter registration deadline for the upcoming Indiana primary election is April 6. The deadline is set for voters to register or update their voter registration or register for the primary election. This could be a test for the limits of President Donald Trump's endorsement power in the county, where he has been criticized for his endorsement of the challenger to Republican State Sen. Greg Goode in response to Goode's rejection of redistricting. Meanwhile, a quarter of the academic degree programs at Indiana's public higher education institutions will be eliminated, suspended or consolidated in the coming years. Conservative groups are contributing $1.5 million to Statehouse races where Trump has made endorsements, and the Club for Growth has contributed $1 million to six races. The new board that will oversee Indianapolis Public Schools and charter schools facilities and transportation will be led by David Harris.
