The rally comes in response to Trump's immigration crackdown in Minneapolis, which resulted in the deaths of two Americans Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of federal agents. The protests aim to build a peaceful and nonviolent movement that ensures a healthy, functioning democracy and communities where all can thrive. The first of these protests was held in June last year as a counter-event to Trump’s military parade.
