Major Clothing Retailer In Connecticut Closing 150 U.S. Stores

The children's clothier, Carter's, is closing 150 stores across the United States as part of its turnaround efforts. The company, which operates the OshKosh and B'Gosh labels, has over a dozen stores in Connecticut. The closures are part of a larger trend that includes more than 1,400 stores set to close in 2026. The retailer has laid off about 300 employees to offset the losses.
