Xavier Rodriguez, 19, of Manchester, Connecticut, has been arrested on an active arrest warrant related to an incident in which a Manchester police officer's foot was run over. The warrant was lodged at the FedEx Distribution Center where he intentionally struck a police cruiser, causing minor damage. Rodriguez then fled the scene and led police on a pursuit before crashing in Manchester and fleeing on foot. He is facing charges including engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, disobeying an officer's signal, evading responsibility, and improper use of a marker plate.
