An officer with the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department has been arrested and charged with numerous human trafficking and child rape violations across several Massachusetts towns. The Hanson Police Department became involved in an active investigation last week for numerous alleged sexual assaults and the creation of child sexual abuse material of a 15-year-old boy. Richard Kielczweski, 41, was taken into custody by Hanson police and Middleborough police late Friday and is charged with three counts of pay for sexual conduct with a child under 18, two counts of rape of a child aggravated by 10-year age difference, and one count of trafficking persons under 18 for sexual servitude. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program for his work during the 2024 holiday season.
