San Diego is set to open One of Us, its first women's sports bar, on University Avenue in North Park. The bar will be a place where fans can watch games from various teams, including San Diego Wave, Mojo and Rebellion, WNBA and NCAA basketball, Team USA rugby, soccer and more. The co-owner, Kalani Millsaps, has hosted pop-up watch parties at neighborhood bars and saw demand for a permanent space. The restaurant will have a more elevated aesthetic with open garage door windows, high ceilings, and a coal-fired pizza oven.
