Jacksonville man accused of shooting at brother during argument in McDonald’s parking lot at Oakleaf Town Center

A 33-year-old man from Jacksonville has been arrested for allegedly firing a shot at his brother during an argument at a McDonald’s parking lot at Oakleaf Town Center. The accused shooter, who is both convicted felons, told police that he had been dropping a woman off at work when the argument escalated. The suspect then fled in a 1999 green Honda Accord with Florida tag IR89SZ, which was later entered as a stolen in law enforcement databases as a result of the shooting. The man was arrested and faces charges of attempted second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and theft of a motor vehicle.
