Fox News legal contributor Jonathan Turley has questioned the legitimacy of the recent indictment of ex-FBI Director James Comey by the Trump administration for threatening the president over a beach photo he posted last year. The accusation, which supports the administration's efforts to target those they deem to be enemies, is considered a weak case as the definition of threat. Turley argued that the photo could be protected as protected speech if it was the basis of a criminal indictment. Meanwhile, Ty Cobb, a White House attorney during the first term, called the accusation "speculation" and "classic revenge".
