Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando are planning a "smaller and meaningful" wedding, rather than a "huge" event, according to a source close to the singer. The couple's engagement was confirmed on Dec. 2, 2025. The source also revealed that Morando, who is extremely private, managed to keep his proposal plan under wraps. Cyrus expressed her surprise at the timing of the engagement news. She also confirmed that her engagement ring was designed by jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche. The pair were first linked in December 2021 and confirmed their relationship in April 2022.
