Baylen Dupree, a reality star and TikToker and reality star, has called out fans who mock her Tourette syndrome by deliberately imitating her tics. She posted a video on March 14, stating that her tic are not "presents," but "my tics are not sayings. They're not phrases. This is called mocking someone with a disability. Dupree defended herself against a follower who claimed that her reality show, TLC, initiated the mockery. Other fans defended Dupree after she received numerous comments suggesting she should be "flattered" by the imitations or that they enjoy repeating her tices because they're "catchy." Dupree was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome in 2020 and has been using her platform to raise awareness and educate people about the disorder. The disorder, which can range from mild to severe, can be caused by factors such as stress, anxiety, excitement, fatigue, and illness.
