Downtown Greensboro Incorporated is launching a virtual gift card program called Boro Bucks to support struggling downtown businesses. The card can only be purchased at participating downtown businesses and will be scanned at the point of sale. The initiative was launched as a response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, 28 businesses have participated. The goal is to onboard 60 additional businesses to the program.
